YTONET piece

This shelf is the pieces YTONET makes for the load that does not go on your own back. The wheelchair bags hang on the push handles or the armrest and open from the seat, with an insulated pocket on one of them; the walker basket clips to a folding walker and carries a tray on top for a plate and a cup holder at the side, and it comes off in one movement when the walker folds. The moving straps are the one thing here that is not a bag: a pair of shoulder harnesses joined by a strap that goes under a sofa or a fridge, so two people lift with their legs and shoulders rather than their fingers and their backs. The zipper binders are the schoolroom pieces, a three-ring binder that zips shut around a laptop sleeve and a pencil case, and the accordion file is the desk piece, thirteen pockets in a hard case with a combination lock.

What does the YTONET walker basket attach to?

The front cross bar of a folding walker, with two hooks over the bar and a strap under it, on walkers with or without front wheels. It carries a tray on top for a plate and a cup holder at the side, and it comes off in one movement when the walker folds. It does not fit a rollator, whose bar sits elsewhere.

How does a YTONET wheelchair bag hang?

From the push handles or an armrest, by two straps with buckles, with the body of the bag flat against the back of the chair so the weight rides on the frame. Both bags open from the top where the person pushing can reach, and one carries an insulated pocket for a drink or a medication.

How are YTONET moving straps worn?

A padded loop over both shoulders of each of two people, joined by one long strap that goes under the sofa or the fridge at its balance point. You stand up together with your legs, steer with your hands, and walk a staircase one step at a time with the taller person below. They are useless for one person; that job is a hand truck.

What laptop fits in a YTONET zipper binder?

A 14-inch laptop in the two-inch binder and a 15.6-inch laptop in the three-inch binder, in a padded sleeve on the inside cover. The binder zips shut round three sides, so the rings, the pencil case and the laptop stay put in a bag or a locker.
