Editorial Policy

Every page on ytonet.net is written by us, and the facts on a bag card come out of our own product data: the laptop size the sleeve is cut for, the dimensions, the wheels and the handle, the cloth and its coating, the pockets, the colourway and the price.

What we do not print

No invented certificates, no test cycles we did not run, no award badges, no customer counts. Where a page states a fact about a checkpoint, a carry-on, a backpack on a child or a lift that a reader would be right to check, the source is named on the page and linked.

Photographs

A photograph on a card is of the bag in the colourway named under it. Diagrams with dimensions and callouts printed into the picture are not published here: a dimension belongs in a line of the specification where it can be read, not in a gallery.

Care

Where a card and the label sewn into the bag disagree about cleaning, the label wins. A card describes how the bag is built; the label is the document the maker holds evidence for, and it is the one to follow.

Prices

Figures come from our own catalogue update and are refreshed on a schedule set out on how we update the catalogue. Where a figure and the till disagree, the till is right.

Corrections

A mistake found is a mistake fixed on the page rather than argued about in a mailbox. Write to wheels@ytonet.net.
