YTONET Rolling Backpacks

The rolling backpack solves the thing a rolling bag cannot: the flight of stairs with nobody to hand the bag to. The shoulder straps are padded and adjustable, and when the bag is pulled they go behind a zipped panel so they do not drag under the wheels. When the bag is worn, the wheels sit at the bottom against a stiff back panel, which is why every backpack here stands upright on its own with the handle down. The laptop sleeve is padded on both faces and sits against that panel, so the laptop rides on the stiffest wall whether the bag is on your back or on the floor.

Two of the backpacks here roll on two rubber wheels and the rest on four spinners, and the difference is the floor. Two wheels tip the bag back and follow you over a kerb, a gravel path and the gap between a train and a platform; they are also the lighter frame. Four spinners run flat beside you with no weight on your wrist, which is what a long terminal corridor wants, and on that backpack the whole trolley detaches at the door so the bag goes up the stairs as a backpack and nothing else. The laptop sizes are 15.6 inches on most of the shelf and 17.7 on one, and every bag carries the strap that slides over a suitcase handle.
