A moving strap is a harness for two people and one heavy thing. Each person wears a padded loop over both shoulders, the two loops are joined by a long strap that goes under the sofa, the fridge or the mattress, and the pair stands up together. The lift comes from the legs and the shoulders, the hands are free to steer, and the object rides at hip height rather than hanging from bent fingers. The strap adjusts for the height of the object and the distance between the two people, and the two sets here differ by the padding of the harness and the length of the strap.
A strap moves the load off the fingers; it does not make the load lighter, and it does not make a staircase flat. The two people have to be of a similar height or the object tips towards the shorter one, and the strap has to sit under the balance point of the object or it swings. NIOSH's revised lifting equation, linked on this page, is the public advice on how much a person should lift in a task and asks that the lifting index stay at or below 1.0; a fridge is above that for two people with or without a strap, and the strap is a way to lift it well, not a reason to lift it alone.

How do you use YTONET moving straps for a sofa?
Each person puts a loop over both shoulders, you pass the long strap under the sofa at its balance point, adjust the buckles so the strap is taut when you both stand upright, and stand up together with the legs. Steer with the hands; the strap holds the weight. Walk the stairs one step at a time with the taller person below.
What weight are YTONET moving straps rated for?
The straps are built for a sofa, a fridge or a washing machine between two adults, and we print no figure on the card because the limit is the two people, not the strap. NIOSH's lifting equation is the public advice on that, and it puts most household appliances beyond a safe two-person lift without a dolly for the stairs.
Can one person use YTONET moving straps?
No. The straps are a pair of harnesses joined by one strap and they only work with a person at each end. For one person the tool is a hand truck, and the strap is the wrong purchase.
